The following frequently asked questions have been compiled by LeafCars Rental in an effort to answer any that you might have. 

Please don't hesitate to call us, though, if your complaint hasn't been handled.

To rent one of our vehicles, you’ll need:

1. A valid/non expired/undamaged driver’s license (must meet [State/Local requirement]

2. 21 years minimum age requirement.

3. A selfie photo of you holding your driver's license and credit card.

4. Payment via Zelle or credit card/debit card. Card must be in the renter's name, and a selfie holding card is required.

5. Full coverage car insurance that transfers to a rented vehicle - Please upload copy of your certificate. If you don't have insurance, we will need to purchase a policy. We can help with purchasing a policy and will add cost to your weekly rate. Qualifications may vary.

The base rate includes [ the exact amount for the type of car being rented], but fees may apply for things like:

Refundable deposit of $250

Late return - $50/day.

Extra mileage - 200 miles a day included. Additional fee of 35 cents a mile.

Fuel - Fuel cost plus $25 service fee.

Cleaning and Pet Fee - $250 

Smoking Fee - $250

Tolls - Toll cost plus $10 service fee.

One way fee under 50 miles - $250

One way fee over 50 miles - Total cost plus $200 service charge

Prepaid Fuel - $80

Parking - Parking cost plus $10 service fee.

No, we offer mileage of 200 miles per day.

We give the car with a full tank. You’ll need to return it with a full tank, or else we’ll charge you for the missing fuel plus $25 service fee.

We also offer a pre-paid fuel option if you'd prefer not to refuel yourself for $80

If you return after the agreed time, there may be a late return fee or you could be charged for a Late return of: $50/day, depending on how late you are. We usually have a small grace period of 1 hour.

No, We currently don’t allow one-way rentals. All vehicles must be returned to the same location where they were picked up. This helps us keep our fleet well managed and ready for the next customer.

Yes, additional drivers are allowed, but they must meet the same requirements (license, age, etc.). There are no fees for additional drivers, but they must be added to the contract.

We require full coverage insurance . Your personal auto insurance may provide coverage if rentals are included. Please call provider for verification. If the car is damaged, you will be responsible for the deductible, repairs, and certain fees (loss of use, etc.). In an accident, call emergency services if needed, then contact us immediately so we can guide you through the claim process.

If the car breaks down, please call us. We’ll arrange for a repair or replacement as quickly as possible. Please note that you may be responsible if due to user misuse.

You can cancel up to 24 hours before the pick-up date/time without penalty. If you cancel later than that, a cancellation fee of 1 day applies.

At the moment, we don’t offer delivery services. All rentals must be picked up from our designated location. This helps us ensure that the vehicle is properly inspected and ready for you at handover.

Yes, in most cases you can extend. Just call us before your scheduled return time, and we’ll adjust the rate for the additional time. Depending on the car availability, there may be a higher rate.

Generally yes within surrounding states CA, NV, UT, and AZ. There may be additional restrictions, fees, or insurance required. Please note, our rentals are for use within Arizona and surrounding States. We don’t allow cross-border travel at the moment.

You are responsible for any traffic violations, tolls, parking tickets, or similar. We may receive notice on your behalf and charge an administrative fee of $10 to process.

The car should be returned in the same condition it was rented in (clean, no garbage, etc.). If it is excessively dirty or interior odors are present (smoke, pets, etc.), there may be a cleaning fee of $250

Yes. We do allow one (1) hour grace before late charges begin, but after that, standard late return fees apply.

You can reserve via our website. A deposit of $250 is required to hold the booking. The deposit amount will be released (minus any charges) after the return and inspection.

We have a range of vehicles: sedans, and SUVs You can book by vehicle category; requests for specific makes/models can be accommodated when available, but we cannot always guarantee a specific car model.

Our location is in central Phoenix. Cross streets are Central and Osborn. Office Visits are by appointment only.

Yes. A standard deposit of $250 is required to pick up the vehicle. Amount might increase depending on the qualifications and form of deposit.

If there are no additional charges at the end of your trip, the deposit will be returned in 2-3 business days. Actual refund time to your account will vary depending on your financial institution.
